There are a lot of things that have been going on, and since it’s been so long since I’ve blogged, I’m sure to NOT mention them all. It’s actually a bit daunting. So, rather than give long, blow by blow descriptions, I’m gonna put together a Top 10 list. If you want to know more about anything on here, please comment, IM, or Private Message me. If I get enough requests, I might just answer them.

Top 10 (or 12) things to Update You On
(in no particular order)
 
1.  Sarah and I got to spend a great Valentine’s Day weekend in Chicago – minus the kiddo.
2.  I became an uncle 2x over the past few months! Welcome Elijah and Tyler James!
3.  I got a chance to perform with Grammy-nominated songwriter/performer Sarah Kelly. WAY cool.
4.  We’re in a small group at church with some of our best friends since we’ve moved here — it’s gonna be great getting to know them all better OUTSIDE of Sunday mornings.
5.  My Dad is gonna be semi-retired as of tomorrow! What’s he gonna do with all that extra time?
6.  I’m getting the songwriting “itch” again and am trying to figure out a plan of attack…
7.  Sarah and I are getting a nice tax return, which should help us pay off all the little bills, etc that have been adding up over the past few months. Hooray! Dave Ramsey rocks and has really affected our choices… we feel so much more in control of finances than we did a year ago.
8.  Sarah’s been going to PT for her back — so far, it’s improved a little bit, but she’s got a way to go.
9.  I just started on a thyroid medication and have been taking it for a week now — maybe there IS a reason why I gain weight so easily!
10.  Sarah and I are going to see Billy Joel and Elton John on March 10!
11.  We started putting together a website for doing weddings, piano lessons, etc. I’ll have to post a link as soon as it’s ready… but the “short of it” is that we’re trying hard to find some ways to earn some extra money to get ahead of the curve financially.
12. I am PSYCHED that baseball season is almost here again. I vow to actually get to a game this year!
