Most of you have probably stopped checking this site, and unless you see it pushed over to Facebook or in your RSS reader, you’ll never happen upon it until much later this year (if at all). Still, I thought I should probably post a few things.

I’ve been feeling exceptionally blessed over the past few weeks… Sarah and I have been able to get away a few times — some on our own, and some with family. Looking forward to another fantastic time in a few weeks when we’ll be heading off to Disney! Yahoo!

We’ve been also blessed with generosity from a number of places — family, friends, etc. Gifts of time, resources, etc all made things so much more manageable during this crazy summer! Really feel like we’re starting to make headway and not just tread water.

My job is also going great, and while it’s tough at times, I couldn’t ask for anything more. I love what I do, I work with great people, and I’m grateful to have a job right now, especially during this time when so many are fighting to keep their heads above water. I’m coming up on my 2 year anniversary here, and am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work for such a forward thinking company made up of some of the best business minds I’ve had the opportunity to work with!

I’m having a fun time watching our garden grow… and it’s definitely not true that “a watched garden never grows”… or is that a watched kettle never boils? or something…  :-) We’ve been enjoying fresh veggies from our garden and have even been able to give some away. The whole idea started when Sarah was intrigued by a program our church was participating in called the “Giving Garden” that was started by Marvin’s Organic Gardens. The idea was that they help get you started with free seedlings, compost, etc and then whatever excess you have gets donated back to the church to supplement their foodbanks with fresh produce. What a GREAT idea! You MUST support them and go check them out if you’re in the Cincy area! And go see pix of our garden on Sarah’s blog (right) and on her Facebook page.

There’s so much more to write, but I need to get back to work… will try to make it back before Christmas…  :-)
