This full-day tour takes you to two of Chiapas's most breathtaking natural landscapes: Cascadas El Chiflón and Lagunas de Montebello. We depart from San Cristóbal de Las Casas to explore these sceneries filled with water, color and lush vegetation.
At El Chiflón you'll walk a 1 km trail along the Río San Vicente, passing several waterfalls: El Suspiro, Ala de Ángel, Arco Iris, Quinceañera and the most iconic one, Velo de Novia, at 120 meters tall.
We then head to Lagunas de Montebello, a group of forest-surrounded lakes including Tziscao, Pojoj, La Encantada, Lago Ensueño and Esmeralda, each with its own unique shade of blue and green.
A perfect experience for those who love nature, photography and open-air scenery in the Chiapas highlands.

Itinerary
- Departure from San Cristóbal — The tour departs from San Cristóbal de Las Casas heading to Cascadas El Chiflón.
- Cascadas El Chiflón — Walk the 1 km trail along the Río San Vicente to admire the waterfalls, including the 120 m Velo de Novia.
- Lagunas de Montebello — Continue to Lagunas de Montebello to visit Tziscao, Pojoj, La Encantada, Lago Ensueño and Esmeralda.
- Return — Once the tour is complete, you return to San Cristóbal de Las Casas.
