If swimming with dolphins is one of your biggest dreams, Dolphin Connection makes it happen. Right next to the Caribbean Sea and just minutes from Playa del Carmen, you'll live an adventure you'll never forget in Puerto Aventuras, a stunning residential complex in the Riviera Maya.
The Swim Adventure Plus program lets you get as close to the dolphins as you've always imagined. They greet you with their fins, give you kisses, sing songs, and push you on a board — all while you enjoy their natural habitat setting.
Puerto Aventuras is 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen and 20 minutes south of the Tulum ruins, in the heart of the Riviera Maya jungle. The facilities sit on a tropical island with a lagoon, home to the dolphins and the perfect spot for your swim.
Besides dolphins, you can meet the gentle and friendly manatees in a natural environment. Around the marina you'll find boutiques, cafés, gourmet bakeries, restaurants, and craft shops to explore before or after your experience.

Itinerary
- Arrival and check-in — Arrive 30 minutes before your program to check in and get ready for the experience.
- Briefing — You receive an approximately 15-minute briefing with safety information before entering the water.
- Dolphin swim — Enjoy about 50 minutes in the water with the dolphins: greetings, kisses, belly rides, and board or boogie pushes.
- Manatee encounter — Spend 15 minutes interacting with the gentle and friendly manatees in a natural setting.
- Meal and free time — Enjoy the included buffet meal and explore the Puerto Aventuras marina with its boutiques, cafés, and restaurants.

Arrive 30 minutes before your program for the prior briefing. Life jackets are mandatory for all water programs. Groups in Puerto Aventuras have a maximum of 12 people. Children must be taller than 1 m to join the manatee program. If you have any physical or health conditions, contact the call center before booking. Cameras are not allowed in the water; professional photos are available for purchase. US dollars in cash are not currently accepted; Mexican pesos or card only.
