About Dolphin Encounter Puerto Aventuras
The Dolphin Encounter program at Dreams Puerto Aventuras is an experience designed for the whole family to receive affection from these playful marine mammals. It is suitable for all ages, as you enjoy it from a submerged platform where the water covers the lower half of your body — no swimming required.
Your new dolphin friend will welcome you, greet you, sing, and let you pet it, dance, and spend time with it in its habitat, set alongside the Caribbean Sea. You'll have fun with activities like the hand target, where the dolphin reaches your raised hand.
Puerto Aventuras is a planned tourist development built with environmental care on the Mexican Caribbean. It is 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen and 20 minutes south of the Tulum ruins, in the heart of the Riviera Maya jungle.
It is a perfect activity for parents and children to share an amazing connection with nature and learn about marine mammals in a safe and fun environment.

Itinerary
- Arrival and check-in — Arrive 30 minutes before your program to complete check-in and get ready for the activity.
- Orientation — You receive a 10-minute informational briefing on safety guidelines and dolphin behaviors.
- Dolphin interaction — Enjoy 30 minutes of interaction with the dolphins from a submerged platform, including greetings, kisses, hugs, and games.
- Buffet meal — After your experience, enjoy a buffet meal with two non-alcoholic beverages included.

Important
Arrive 30 minutes before your program for the prior orientation. A life vest is mandatory for all water programs. Groups have a maximum of 15 people. Cameras are not allowed in the water. Cash dollars are not currently accepted; you may pay by card or Mexican pesos. If you have any physical or health condition, contact the call center before booking. Use biodegradable sunscreen to protect your skin and marine life.
